I am a patient coordinator for the Rosenstock Cosmetic Center, Dr. Mario Garita, DDS, and Dr. Quesada, weight loss surgeon. I assist patients with information on coming to Costa Rica for their surgery and dental care. I help them organize their entire trip. Most of our patients stay at recovery retreats, such as Casa de la Mariposa. My job is made enjoyable by the positive feedback I get from all the patients on their medical care and postop care.

I receive everyday wonderful letters from patients who I have helped to stay at Mariposa. They are so happy with their accommodations and care that they write while they are still there. Some of the things that these patients are always praising are the meals. One woman wrote: I know that I have a difficult diet to cater to as I am a strict vegetarian but that does not mean I don't like flavor. The meals I have had at Mariposa have been amazing. They have even showed me a whole new way of making my meals so much more enjoyable. I still can't believe that Andi and (name of cook) have gone so far to cater to my diet. This is just one example of the type of care that I have received at Mariposa....

I have had other patients write about the extraordinary patient care they have received. One woman wrote: I am not the best postop patient and I can make the most very patient person scream. I had a tummy tuck and refused to get out of bed because it hurt to move around. Andi came in and very confidently told me we were going for a 'nice' walk. I told her no thank you. She said that I was going and would enjoy the fresh air. I got nasty and told her to go away. Meanwhile she was putting on my shoes and going about getting me ready. Smiling she and Maria scoped me up and said we are off. She was persistent, assured, and made me feel confident that I could do this. I had a wonderful walk, lol. I could not believe how hard Andi and her staff work to make sure all of their patients do what is necessary to recover, even when working with 'difficult' patients.

Stories like these make it easy for me to feel confident on telling my patients you will love Mariposa. Keep up the good work Andi as it makes by job so easy.

Just returned to the USA today. I am healing well and am pleased with how I look now and they tell me the final results (becauseof swelling) can take between 6 months and year...so I may eventually look even better/thinner than now LOL!

I stayed at Andi's Casa de la Mariposa retreat and was well taken care of. I was helped in any way I needed. The hospital bed was a great relief/comfort for the types of procedures I had (Tummy tuck, breast reduction, lipo) and thier hospital bed had memory foam which makes them even more comfortable. The room was set up well for having everthing you needed with in reach of the bed. The food was great. I am sure there are other places to stay that are nice , but I'll never need to try those places becuse I had everything I needed at Andi's retreat. Also keep in mind that Casa de la Mariposa is pretty close the the clinic so all those follow up appointments that require a taxi add up and cost more the further away you are from the clinic.
